Stone Island’s pieces are often centred around use of advanced textiles, like this black jacket, for example. Crinkle Reps forms its outer, in which tightly woven nylon is dyed unevenly to give wind-resistance, water-repellence and, as the name suggests, a crinkled look. This one is padded with down, too, and cut to a slightly longer fit for added protection. Two types of branding — engineered into the woollen hood liner and detailed at one arm — is used to complete things.
This product has undergone a garment dyeing process. Any uneven colour of the surface is a distinctive feature of the wash.
