More pared-back than we’re used to from adidas and Human Made’s collaborations, the Tokio Solar HU is reminiscent of retro track runners. Its white knit upper has the style’s signature low profile, but it’s updated with an exaggerated heel tab that’s debossed with Nigo’s playful beating heart logo. Panels of stone suede and serrated navy leather reinforce the heel, sidewall and toe— emulating race-day looks from the archives— and it’s completed with a responsive, boost™-cushioned sole.
