Inspired by the narratives of the homeless youth in Jim Goldberg’s 1995 photobook Raised by Wolves, these Vans Vault Sk8-Hi sneakers are covered in an all-over floral print. Not too dissimilar to that found on a mattress – further reinforced by the quilt-like stitching across the canvas – the pattern is grounded by more conventional suede and a clean white sidewall stripe. Underfoot, they’re exactly as is expected; they use off-white foxing tape and an attitude bringing ‘Off The Wall’ tab on the heel.
