In an effort to revitalise its Air Force 1 silhouette in the ‘80s, Nike’s “colour of the month” initiative had fantastic success - so it’s no surprise that it's been brought back for the sneaker’s fortieth anniversary. Previous releases this year have seen bold metallic tones characterising the signature Swoosh, but Nike chooses texture instead for this pair - reimagining the traditionally smooth leather uppers with contrasting grains. This experimentation even continues underfoot on the pure white outsole, ensuring a distinctive take on the timeless style.
