The down-filled jacket is synonymous with Moncler, but 2 Moncler 1952 – as part of the Genius collection – takes it away from the slopes and into the city, just as the youth cultures have done since the ‘80s. This army green version, in collaboration with LA-based Undefeated, is a perfect example. The boxy shape and premium goose down insulation remain, but the exterior is crafted from a hard-wearing cotton ripstop in place of the usual nylon laqué and the rooster patch is reimagined with the retailer’s five-strike logo.
