First released in 2006 to commemorate Nike Jordan’s longstanding relationship with award-winning director Spike Lee, the Spizike combines elements from a host of popular silhouettes worn by Mike. Entirely grey in its construction, this pair sees AJ3-derived elephant print overlays sit alongside iconic AJ4 wings, while Mars Blackmon – Lee’s polarising ‘She’s Gotta Have It’ character who also featured in Air Jordan adverts throughout the ‘90s – sits to the heel as a final reference to the industry-spanning relationship.
