Description
Nike and Comme des Garçons continue their collaborative partnership, with the Japanese label opting to reimagine another icon: the Air Force 1 Mid. It debuted in the AW20 Neo Future show, and stays somewhat true to the ’82 OG. The smooth leather uppers and supportive ankle strap remain, but both are subtly reworked with oversized panelling and raw edges to reflect Rei Kawakubo’s idea that everything new is a rework of something that already exists.
