Adidas x Bookworks Campus 80Black & Blue
adidas joins forces with New York City’s jazz-impassioned collective Bookworks to create a musically-inspired rendition of the three-stripe label’s iconic velvety-suede sneaker. Born on the basketball court in the 80’s, the silhouette soon found its way to the streets, after gaining a cult following in the world of hip-hop later in the decade. While the colourway is clean and minimal – comprised of a black base with blue and green arcs adorning each side – the construction is far from simplistic. Think smooth suede uppers, a sleek rubber outsole to support you with every step and, inside, a musical sheet dressing the sockliner for a suitably-melodic touch.
