Description

Luxe details and space age styling combine to bring the classic Nike Daybreak from its ‘70s heyday straight into the 21st Century. Undercover’s Jun Takahashi continues his collaboration with Nike by taking the iconic runner and giving it a seriously subversive all-black update. Leaving the original toebox intact, Takahashi pays homage to the old school style – but as he travels to the back of the shoe, his signature streak of weird and wonderful shines through. The back of the shoe is encased in a cage-like construction that takes on a geometric spaceship shape, cutting the leather Swoosh in half. Filled with pitch black textured suede, it is flanked by a leather patch that is marked in white with the Undercover ‘U’.
