adidas’ Thesia is Y2K in a shoe. It’s inspired by the early ‘00s, but at that time, everyone was looking to the future. The upper is comfortable mesh, but it’s overlaid with metallic panels and translucent caging. Things get even more high-tech underfoot, where thick cushioning and jagged tooling add comfort, grip and era-appropriate bulk.
