Vans Vault x Mister Cartoon x Neighborhood UA Old Skool 36 DXBlack
Vans Vault and Neighborhood reprise their partnership, celebrating the West Coast culture that’s long been synonymous with the footwear label. New for this season, however, is the inclusion of LA-based tattoo artist Mr. Cartoon. He lends his signature Chicano style to these all-black Old Skool DXs, though they’re more subtle than the other pair from the pack. They’re crafted from premium suede and fitted with the SoCal skate brand’s signature tooling underfoot, while the Mr. Cartoon addition comes by way of the tonal embroidery at the heel and toe: the former hosts the two brands’ hometowns – Tokyo and Los Angeles – and the latter is graced with the capsule’s “Uncle Toon’s Mart” title.
