Puma x Roland RS-100Puma Black
Joining forces with Japanese instrument manufacturer Roland, PUMA pay homage to the legendary drum machine, the TR-808. Famed for its important use in the early stages of electronic music and hip-hop, Roland’s iconic hardware is commemorated in this pair of sneakers. Dressed in the infamous colours of the 808’s step sequencer buttons, vibrant red, orange, yellow and crisp white are rendered in suede and leather across black textile uppers. Further mimicking the 808’s sequencer, the rugged rubber outsole is dressed in the same colour combination, instilling the machine’s essence within the sneaker even further. Resting atop of PUMA’s IMEVA midsole, this retro sneaker style offers a classic aesthetic with a distinctive cult appeal.
