Celebrating the lifespan of a sneaker, A-COLD-WALL* and Nike join forces to present the “Zoom Vomero 5”. Based on the classic sportswear silhouette, this rendition sees London-based designer Samuel Ross engage with the style in a personal way. Stripped of its colour fastening properties, this sail and off-white colourway will slowly alter over time, reacting to the life the wearer gives it. Constructed with textile uppers and leather overlays, printed branding details this piece further, offering a healthy dose of Nike and A-COLD-WALL* branding. Complete with an oversized heel counter that expounds on Samuel Ross’ interest in brutalist aesthetics, Nike’s Cushlon foam midsole and rubber outsole finish off the silhouette with a comfortable and durable foundation.
