New Balance and Casablanca’s partnerships tend to follow a trend: bold, modern-retro sneakers. And the latest from the two, named the XC72, is no different. They’re inspired by the same era as their previous collaborations — the 70s — with suede and leather that’s heavily panelled across the uppers and a vibrant yellow and red palette. Arguably, though, it’s the sole that demands the most attention — it’s asymmetrical, with different tread on either side, and super chunky to really drive home the look.
