Since the 19th century, boro patchworking has been used in Japan to not only increase the longevity of clothes, but also reinvent them with each new material added. FDMTL celebrates the tradition on this tee, layering frayed indigo denim and sashiko-stitched cotton on its chest to create an artisanal circle motif. It’s cut to a relaxed, short-sleeved silhouette from soft grey cotton and trimmed with a ribbed knit at the collar.
