Converse x Undercover Chuck Taylor 1970s HiBlack

No longer the clean-cut, all-American court choice, Converse's ultimate linchpin - the Chuck 70 - is guised here by UNDERCOVER founder Jun Takahashi. Rolling out his well-documented infatuation with the iconic sneaker; Jun discovers inspiration in Walter Hill’s ‘70s cult film ‘The Warriors’ and its opposing NYC gangs to curate the collection’s rebellious identity. Rendered with a solid black palette, the high-top design optimises a punk exterior with a zip tongue closure, metal ring piercings to its toecap and heel and a ‘The New Warriors’ print to its front. Embellished with ‘NW’ embroidery, this pair are finished with a sturdy rubber outsole underfoot.
