Description
adidas is back with another Superstan this season, but it’s different from the last. A Stan Smith is used as the base, again, but the Superstar’s iconic shell toe is gone. You’d be forgiven for thinking it’s still there, though. Instead, it’s printed on the smooth white leather, just like the serrated Three Stripes and heel panel, to provide that classic slam-dunking aesthetic. The printed details continue across the sole, too; it’s overlaid with a vintage-inspired yellowing, fitting for an on- and off-court icon’s 50th anniversary.
