A laceless lucky charm, adidas embody the strength and courage of the “Koi Fish” for their latest NMD_CS1 runner. Surfacing with bold embellishments and Japanese-style detailing, the City Sock’s white and grey striped uppers are brushed with a black stripe — as a nod to Enso, a symbol of Zen Buddhism. To the medial side, a leather patch is subtly debossed with the carp, shaped to a half-circle and in Japan’s flag red colouring. In true City Sock fashion, underfoot sees a boost sole and feature the NMD plugs and webbed rubber outsole.
