Based on Tinker Hatfield’s original sketch for the Air Jordan 3, here’s a pair in a grayscale palette that packs a retro punch. Black suede forms the uppers with hints of ash and smoke-tone leather and elephant-effect overlays at the heel. Unlike the OG, a Swoosh is added, intersecting the vamp in eye-catching reflective 3M, a fitting match for the 3M tongue and dazzling white midsoles. The eyelets offer a decadent flash of gold while slicks of black embossed and embroidered branding finish things to tonal perfection.
