Having debuted during OAMC’s Paris fashion week show back in January, the Type 0-1S is delivered in collaboration with adidas and presents a harmonious balance between modern aesthetics and innovative techniques. With a sincere respect for the past, this pair is the culmination of all that’s come before, with an aesthetic that is culturally relevant and valid now.

Tonal from heel-to-toe and finished in a delicate pastel palette – going against the barrage of throwback neons – the pair juxtaposes luxe suede and leather with a midfoot strap and utilitarian rubber overlays; mirroring Luke Meier’s dual-coast inspiration and pitting the grunge-focussed Seattle against the sleek and sophisticated New York City. Underfoot, the dichotomy continues. With a split sole reminiscent of bygone running silhouettes, the over-engineered look is pared back through the use of the same pastel across the upper to complete the sneaker with a contemporary look and feel.
