Adidas x Craig Green Polta AKH IBlack, Grey & Simple Brown
The second collection from adidas and award-winning British designer Craig Green picks up right where the last left off, with a focus on the sportswear stalwart’s proud history and iconic design language. The design of this Polta AKH, however, is modern and typical of Green. The uppers take inspiration from two terrace-favourite adidas models, the Boston Super and Samba, and sit the Three Stripe branding of both alongside each other to showcase how the angles and textures have changed throughout the brand’s history. They’re then overlaid with a translucent skin-like layer that, when partnered with the distinctive Kamanda sole unit, creates a unique aesthetic perfectly capturing the innovative nature of both partners.
