Traditional craft techniques are at the core of Blue Blue Japan, and this hooded jacket showcases that focus. It’s made in the label’s home country using pure cotton — which, as you’d expect, is indigo dyed — that’s cut with a front panel that wraps over and secures using an asymmetric button closure. For added detail, sashiko embroidery is used throughout, giving the subtle, almost-striped appearance.
This garment has been produced using traditional indigo dyeing methods. As a result, the colour will fade with every wash and dye transfer onto lighter clothing may occur.
