Cousins Laurent Bourven and Marc Asseily base the clothes at their Lyon-based brand Arpenteur on mid-century workwear and the comics they grew up reading. This raincoat is a great example of their utility-inspired aesthetic – presented in bottle green, it is slickly constructed, featuring a streamlined, drawstring hood and press stud closure. The finishing touch lies in the tongue-in-cheek illustration of a man with an octopus on his head on the oversized ‘weatherproof’ chest tab.
