Adidas x OAMC Type O-1LOff White
Having first debuted on OAMC’s Parisian runway show, this sneaker, in collaboration with adidas is dubbed the Type 0-1L and represents a harmonious balance between modern aesthetics and innovative techniques. Presenting a sneaker that is distinctly modern, the collaborators show respect for the past yet acknowledge the power is in the now and what is culturally relevant.
Entirely tonal in its construction, the pair wears luxe leather to both the interior lining and the exterior, with textured rubber overlays and a striking midfoot strap combining to create a visual appeal that could not exist in any other era. Underfoot, a split sole is reminiscent of performance styles that feature so prominently throughout adidas' history but, dressed in the same off-white hue as the rest of the sneaker, provides a contemporary touch that is unquestionably a product of the now.
