Description

This latest release from Nike's Quickstrike division takes inspiration from the 'Moon Shoe', the first shoe Nike ever released. The 1972, named after the year that shoe was released and the first year Nike did business, takes inspiration from the swoosh's celebrated history in performance footwear, moving forward into a more formal arena but retaining the features that have made the brand great. This unique, low cut shoe features full leather uppers, with a tonal leather swoosh at the side. In a giant leap away from the world of sneakers, the 1972 features a goodyear welted sole, a classic staple of quality formal footwear.
