Tsubota Pearl’s Hard Edge lighter arrived on the scene in the late 90s – and has enjoyed cult status ever since. Promising to spark joy and whatever else – be it candles or smoky habits – it’s minimally-designed in the brand’s native Tokyo, with functionality at the forefront. Think six, smooth-edged faces, a modern boxy shape and a flip cap, home to a cotton wick. There are a multitude of colours to choose from, but this clear, geometric rendition - revealing a rose gold interior - is one of the most popular styles, introduced back in 2005.
