Reebok’s Club C has clean design lines and simple uppers, providing the perfect canvas for a little experimentation. And this version is made in collaboration with Maison Margiela, so you can count on that being the case. They’re designed to give nod to the fashion house’s background in couture as well as trompe l'oeil — an artistic technique that uses optical illusions to make objects appear three dimensional — with its panelling, stitching and perforations drawn on to look like it's in its early stages of design. There’s a neutral hue that appears throughout, too, and co-branding at the tongues — Reebok’s Vector logo and Margiela’s numerical code — to complete the look.
