The Air Waffle Trainer, first released in the early 1980’s, combines two of Nike’s earliest innovations in footwear technology. As the name would suggest, the sole of this classic runner houses Nike’s air cushioning system and their classic waffle outsole, two pieces of technology which have an incredible impact on the history of the brand. With uppers constructed from nylon and suede, with strategically placed panels for targeted support, this is a clean take on a classic design.
