Converse and Chinatown Market’s latest collaboration celebrates icons of the basketball world, both in sneaker and team form. This time, it’s the Los Angeles Lakers and Pro Leather’s turn, with inspiration taken from the championship jackets designed by Jeff Hamilton in 2002. The leather upper, for example, is coloured in light blue and purple, then detailed with team-inspired overlays — ranging from three-peat references to badges — and palm trees throughout.
