Adidas x The Next Door A.R TrainerWhite & Grey
Inspired by its famous Avignon store location, French retailer The Next Door and adidas partner up to offer two theatre-inspired sneakers. Paying homage to festival d’Avignon and drawing on the theatrical archetypes of Comedie et Tragedie, the two pairs play on key characteristics of traditional theatre.
These A.R. Trainers, dressed in a neutral colourway and accented with hits of peach and mint, are representative of the classic harlequin costumes and celebrate the ‘Comedie’ side of theatre. Finished with signature Trefoil branding, the sneakers also wear an iconic laughing face printed to the heel – a final homage to the theatrical inspiration that initiated the collaboration.
