Imperfect, off-kilter, and slightly disjointed, adidas Originals by Alexander Wang go back to the classics; reimagining the ‘80s Superstar with the spirit of creative reuse. Subverting commonly accepted rules, Wang flips the sneaker’s shell toe on its head; revealing its barcode from underneath, while adidas’ Trefoil turns upside-down. Style revisited, the designer pairing look back to season one of their partnership; re-establishing the tricolour in a fusion of gum, black and white, with herringbone texture and a chunky disposition evolving the silhouette with all the ‘wrong’ details.
