Modernising and melding functional design with aesthetic innovation, Y-3 reinvent its Kusari silhouette for AW18. The first colourway to debut the Kusari II, Yohji Yamamoto maintains his reputation for monochrome, even with this tri-colour edition. Primarily white on the neoprene uppers, black suede and leather add textural contrast to the already sleek, contemporary design. Experimenting with bold red, the Japanese designer saves the vibrant hit of colour for the tongue tag and heel. Underfoot, a black boost™ midsole harnesses the sneaker back to the master of monochrome.
