Adidas x Craig Green Polta AKH IIIWhite
adidas and award-winning British designer Craig Green continue their collaborative partnership this season, once again creating a Polta AKH. But it’s not the same as the one from the last drop. The all-white, heat-moulded uppers are similar, taking inspiration from both the Boston Super and the Samba, but the sole is completely different. It’s from the Rivalry, adidas’ basketball sneaker from ’86 that gained just as much attention off the court as it did on it. The resulting three-way hybrid is a perfect representation of both partners’ history-informed, but ultimately futuristic, aesthetic.
