END. CURATES: FORM & FUNCTION

Taking a softer approach to combining the latest style trends and a sense of practicality into our wardrobes, this END. Curates edit places emphasis on the combination of form and function. As the year marches closer to its end and colder weather finally appears, it’s important to blend a pragmatic approach to dressing with a fashion-forward aesthetic sensibility. Balancing muted palettes, rich textures and standout accessories with a modern design language and captivating material blends, the Form and Function END. Curates edit presents a balance of tradition and luxuriousness with a selection of timeless staples.

Presenting the ideal mixture of form and function, oversized outerwear pieces from Stand Studioand Damson Madder deliver striking silhouettes, while warmer pragmatic pieces from and Wander, Acne Studios and Auralee embellish each ensemble with an inflection of cosiness.

Centring around neutral and earthy hues, beige, brown and muted greens colours across pieces from Moncler, R13, Samsøe Samsøe and Isabel Marant are punctuated with vibrant burst of pigment as crimson red and floral combinations on accessories from MARGE SHERWOOD and Maison Margiela create striking visual interest without overwhelming each look.

Completing the holistic aesthetic vision, texture plays a crucial role in the traditional execution of form and function. Soft knitwear is layered under more structured outerwear, creating a strong mix of wool, suede and technical fabrics that cultivates both visual depth and a sense of tactility into the outfits. This depth of character and richness reinforces feelings of warmth and a defined sense of luxury as we learn to live with the cold once again.
