Description
New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio is all about reimagining the past to create footwear for the present, and that’s the best way to describe this version of the iconic 574. The upper is somewhat conventional for the label — save for the removal of the tongue and sidewall branding for a cleaner look — with navy blue suede teamed with sporty mesh underlays. It’s underneath that demands the most attention, though — there’s a Vibram® sole that’s chunky, welted and features rippled lugs.
