FDMTL contrasts the heritage Japanese embroidery technique of ‘sashiko’ with a COBRA® belt buckle. Sashiko has been around since the 1600s and offers the strap a traditional appearance with intricate stitches. The COBRA® buckle, meanwhile, was invented in the ‘40s for the aeronautical industry and offers a totally different old-school appeal; combining the two creates a bold statement.
