Continuing our on-going Autumn/Winter 2013 Preview series, Italian fashion house Missoni are one of the most innovative and luxurious brands in the business with a history as rich as their collections. Established in Varese, Italy in 1953 and now based in Milan, Missoni are famed for knitwear with their iconic irregular striped pattern becoming a symbol for haute courture, exemplified by their liberal use of various fabrics such as fine wool and silk.

In its debut season here at End, the Autumn Winter 2013 collection focuses on the brand’s famed staples with the backbone of the range featuring striped and geometric patterns in a colour palette inspired by North America. Sandy tans, icy blues and sombre greys add an auspicious autumnal feel to each piece which are finished to the fashion house’s exacting standards. Rounding off the collection is a collaboration with British denim label, Jean Machine, who have utilised their decades of denim expertise to craft a 5-pocket jean and a robust jacket that fits seamlessly into the range.
