An all time favourite for us here at END, the first arrival from our friends down the road at Barbour always lets us know that SS14 is in full swing.
A classic showing from the legendary South Shields outdoor outfitter, the first look at their offerings from this season sees them return to what they do best with a selection of their iconic outerwear.
To celebrate this selection of classic designs, old favourites and new takes on contemporary greats, we took a selection from the collection into their native habitat, showing off the continued effectiveness of Barbour’s outerwear in the cold winter weather of the North East coastline, literally two miles away from their South Shields factory.
New for 2014, Barbour have taken inspiration from the Iconic aesthetic of leather for a selection of new takes on the highly sought after SL collection. Previously exclusive to Japan and almost impossible to track down, this Slim Line collection reinvents a selection of Barbour’s best loved designs, this time incorporating a new material treated to take on the looks and distinctive patina of leather.
With new styles from their Steve McQueen and Heritage collections alongside the debut of the Spey Fishing capsule, this an exciting glimpse of what is certain to be another incredible year for Barbour.
