The furore surrounding Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy’s collections has been building steadily since his debut in 2008. Heavily inspired by his youth and the subcultures of 1990s Russia, the AW16 collection has been entitled ‘Save & Survive’.
For his take on a denim jacket Rubchinskiy overdyes the sturdy cotton denim with a dark green, opting for a longer silhouette and opting for a tunnel neck with a number of front pockets for utilitarian styling.
